November 21, 2020 – the Saskatchewan Health Authority informed us that there was one case of COVID-19 in an individual at Scott Collegiate. 

For the safety of students and staff, and in consultation with Public Health, we have informed all close contacts and provided them information about self isolation. Affected students will begin remote learning and will not return to the school until December 3rd.

We have also contacted all school families by automated telephone call to inform them.

Letters will be sent to all school families on Monday, November 23^rd.

The Organizational Meeting of the Regina Board of Education was held on November 17, 2020. Mr. Adam Hicks was declared elected by acclamation to the office of Chairperson, and Ms. Tara Molson was declared elected to the position of Vice-Chairperson, both effective immediately.

In addition, the Board adopted the following motion:

That, during the period December 2020 to September 2021, regular meetings of the Board be held on the following days:

NOVEMBER 17, 2020 -- The Regina District Industry Education Council is hosting a two-night virtual "Parents as Career Coaches" event on Monday, November 30th and Tuesday, December 1st from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. The event, titled "Funding Your Child's Education," will connect parents/guardians with representatives from TCU Financial, Canada Saskatchewan Student Loans and post-secondary institutions to provide valuable information on funding students' education.

There will also be two $500 bursaries awarded to two lucky Grade 12 students!
